Tired of leaks from the timing chain cover on your 1500 MG Midget, Triumph Spitfire, TR250, TR6 or GT6? This timing chain reinforcement plate provides full contact with the front plate and block, stopping the dripping.

Made of 3/16″ steel plate, this reinforcement plate, along with the grade 8 hardware, provides an even pressure along the entire bottom half of the timing chain cover.

Often the timing chain cover, made of very thin sheet metal, gets distorted when the attaching bolts are over-tightened, creating gaps which leak oil. Solve that problem forever.

The first picture shows the reinforcement plate with included hardware. The short bolt in the picture goes into the location that the slotted screw went in. The second picture shows the reinforcement plate mounted on a timing chain cover. The third picture shows the reinforcement plate mounted on the front engine plate.
